During the plant start-up, Pentair offers full commissioning support in three phases: wet commissioning without membranes, membrane loading and wet commissioning with membranes.
1. Wet commissioning without membranes
The objective is to test the plant’s hardware and software without the risk of damaging the membrane modules in case of unforeseen situations. The tests also flush and clean the entire system. Any remaining debris in the interior has to be removed prior to loading the membranes.
2. Membrane loading
The membrane loading procedure, carried out by a team of trained specialists, is usually witnessed by a Pentair engineer.
3. Wet commissioning with membranes
The newly installed membranes are flushed and the plant starts up with clean water before being tuned for optimal operation and performance.
